What a Year It’s Been (Again)

Happy Thanksgiving - What a Year It’s Been (Again)

2021 was quite a year, especially for those of us lucky enough to be living in Texas. Despite last February’s snowstorm and power outage (happy Valentine’s Day), the pandemic, and other upheavals, I find there’s quite a lot that I’m thankful for.

I’m thankful that my family, friends, and employees have stayed healthy and safe throughout the year. Was it always easy? Oh, heck no. Sometimes it was a lot of work. But they did it, and I’m very grateful for all the extra care they’ve taken.

I’m thankful to have my dream job. Not everyone can say that, and I count myself as very lucky that I look forward to going to work every day. Running a company can be challenging and demanding and I’m grateful for every minute of it.

I’m thankful for my A-team (“A” stands for awesome). Many of our technicians and administrative staff have been with the C&W Appliance Service family for many years. Whether it’s answering the phone, repairing an appliance, taking care of the accounts, scheduling service calls, or any of the dozens of things that make a company run, they all take customer service very seriously and always have the company goal of providing prompt and efficient service in mind.

I’m thankful for the lessons that my dad, Wayne, taught me. He was one of the founders of C&W Appliance Service all those years ago and he brought me into the business when I was a youngster. He taught me some important things like hard work, taking care of your customers and employees, keeping your word, and doing the right thing. Those lessons have stayed with me my whole life and have helped guide me in my personal life and in business.

I’m thankful for the help and support we can always count on from our partner suppliers. We have some terrific suppliers and I want to make special mention of our friends at Great Plains Appliance Parts for their unwavering commitment to helping us provide the best in service to you, our customers.

Most of all, I’m thankful for our customers. Many of our customers have been with us for years and years and we are very appreciative of their loyalty and support. Whether you’re a new customer or a not-so-new customer, we want you to know that we value our relationship with you and we’ll always do our very best to give you the top-of-the-line service you need.

From me and from everyone at C&W Appliance Repair Service, have a very happy Thanksgiving.
